Prepping for IPF23

Only a few weeks until IPF23 and I wanted to share some easy marketing tips for how I'm preparing for the show. Every time these events happen it seems like they sneak up on me and I don't capitalize on every opportunity. Here's how I got better...


1. Take Advantage of the Event Promotional ToolKit and Networking Opportunities! Tag their social profiles and get the word out that you'll be there. All of these shows have an added value option that most vendors overlook.


2. Start targeting your contacts directly! - If you have a vendor, company, contact that you specifically want to get in front of, make your intention known. I usually run into the key decision makers at these events and they're happy to talk shop! Email text and even send some social media action their way.


3. Stand OUT - You're competing with thousands of other people for the same attention. What are you doing that your colleagues aren't? Make a video, offer a prize, get a cool SWAG item. It's worth it!


4. Advertise - Social and Digital Ads are still underutilized at these events. Run a social post about the event and boost it. There are also opportunities to GEO-Fence the event and target every mobile device in your area. Don't be afraid to pay for attention, it's still the most effective way
